Abortion

Abortion, everyone has an opinion and thoughts on the topic. The debate is almost always divided into the pro-choice side and the pro-life side. Just a couple of weeks ago there was a giant display in my school mall about abortion and the pro-life side. The display showed pictures of the operation and how it is similar to lynching and arguments like that. As I walked up to the display multiple people handed me pamphlets with graphic pictures while the people hosting the display came up to me to ask what I thought of it. When I told them my views we had a conversation both taking turns giving our opposite opinions on the topic. Overall the conversation was educational but I still didn't change my stance on pro-choice. 

   Why am I pro-choice and why is it such an important topic for me? As someone who is an advocate for human rights why am I so ok with, as the pro-life side puts it, murder? I have come to be a big women's rights advocate and I think the right to a safe abortion is important to that movement. Women deserve the right to choose whether or not to keep the fetus that is living in them. It is simply the option that I stand for, and for people who that choice has no effect on having no right to deny women the choice for them to do it safely. 
   There are multiple arguments to this topic from the heartbeat laws to there being other options. The big one has got to be giving up the baby for adoption. Orphanages are overfilling because not a lot of people want to adopt. Most of the times the kids will be moved from home to home with living conditions that are not exactly the best. Many women choose the option for an abortion because it is unhealthy for them to keep the baby and at times it can put the mother in danger 

   One thing is for sure if states ban abortions it won't stop them all together. women will find ways to get them. They could be unsafe and unsanitary that could possibly cause more harm.
But whatever side you chose to be on, discussions and questions from either side are important and should be respected.

Visual, Haptic, Technological.

Visual, haptic, and technological are the most common ways of communication for people with communication disabilities. There are so many ways to communicate that these categories have categories. To begin, there is visual communication. This type of communication can be used with signs, to sign language, to facial expressions. A common way would also be writing/drawing things down. This way of communication could be very helpful to people who can't physically speak.  Next, there is haptic communication which is how people communicate with the use of touch. Girls in Education.

Here in america we don't really see an issue with girls having an education, in fact its mandatory for both boys and girls to go to school. When we think about girls not allowed to go to school we think its crazy, but in other country's that is the reality. There are so many factors that go into girls not getting a proper education ranging from the overall look of society to even the bathrooms that are provided for them. One place where It is a major issue is in India so many girls there do not have a proper education like The Atlantic Issue "The Groups Fighting for Girls' Education in India" states "Particularly here in Rajasthan, where only 52.66 percent are literate and some 350,000 are not in school, according to Educate Girls" this is only in one part of the country it is so much worse if it is all put together.  One common issue in India that prevents girls from going to school is child brides.
